My beautiful Qur’anic Journey
QSL has given me an opportunity to learn Qur’anic Arabic grammar that I was looking for so long.
In the past, I had attended a few short courses and learnt a little from these courses but I was looking for a structured course that teaches me from the scratch to understand the grammar in depth. I have no words to say thanks to QSL who has arranged this course with such a lovely teacher who has a friendly personality with lots of patience.
Alhamdulillah, I have completed level 1 and now I’m doing level 2.
This course is highly recommended to those sisters who want to get the knowledge to understand the messages of Allah Subhaanahu wa ta’aala from His book- Al-Qur’aan.

Why did you choose to study Tajweed/Arabic – your personal journey?
I had just recently retired and had been feeling like I wanted to use my time for something beneficial. I knew that it is the duty of every Muslim to seek knowledge, so when I saw this opportunity Alhamdulillah, I took it. It was one of the best decisions I ever made and I’m so grateful Alhamdulillah.
What has been your experience studying with QSL?
Amazing! I have had the opportunity to learn from lovely, supportive teachers. The teachers don’t only teach the academic side, but they also share beautiful reminders that help us to remember and get closer to Allah swt. May Allah swt bless them all.

I chose to study tajweed about 4 years ago what motivated me was when my son started Madrasa and I realised my pronunciation wasn’t very good and I couldn’t help him. So I decided to look for a structured course.
Since I have started with QSL, I have learnt lots of new things I never knew like the names of rules and qualities of the letters. Alhamdulillah I have been able to implement what I have learnt and my Quraan recitation has improved I can now help others and pass on what I have learnt.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is starting to learn the Arabic letters or those who already know how to read as there are many things to learn along the way. I really like how the classes are structured and are and a fixed time. This course has strengthened my relationship with the Quraan I pray it does for all who join it.

The teachers Masha’Allah are very good with a great deal of patience, take time and give tips to each student, very encouraging to all the students and answer your questions appropriately.

It’s so nice the lovely bond that grows from year to year with fellow classmates. You’re all going through the same journey; you feel each other’s struggles when it does get a bit hard and you notice each other’s improvements. It’s just really special!

Before learning Tajweed with QSL I would recite the Qur’an but did not know how to correct myself, but with this Tajweed course, Alhumdulillaah I now know many things and want to teach my children. This is my 4th year and I’m loving to learn Tajweed.
